Gain Stacking for me was always about putting low gain pedals into high gain pedals to give them more "oomph". It was not until recently that I was told to try it the other way around, by Simon of JSA Effects. He pointed out that pedals like the Bluesbreaker were essentially amps in a pedal and therefore would respond like an amp. And where do you put distortion pedals usually? Before your amp! So here I am testing out the Hubcap John/JSA Bluesmaker with the Underfluked FuZR pedal!
