The Behringer Fuzz Bender
First impression. It looks cool, it’s solid metal and feels sturdy. The normal mode, with a strat plugged straight into it sounds fantastic! Great fuzz and responds perfectly to the volume control. It cleans up exactly as I’d hope.
The modern mode is horrible. I can’t explain how nasty it sounds. I heard the description "bad octave fuzz through a cocked wah". God knows what they were thinking?
But, you are going to be hard pressed to find a Tone Bender style fuzz as good and at this price.
