I was on the lookout for a high gain distortion, that wasn’t the Boss Metal Zone – and came across the TC Electronic Dark Matter. It is a really responsive, high gain pedal that can go from overdrive to face melting. It has a 2 band EQ and a voice switch (That may or may not do anything!!)
